Who we are
sonoamp is a music-analysis and playlist-discovery platform for artists and independent curators. Questions about this notice or your personal data can be sent to privacy@sonoamp.com.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use sonoamp, we may collect:
- account and workspace details, such as name, email and role;
- Spotify artist, release, track, playlist and public-profile data you connect;
- audio-analysis outputs and playlist-fit evidence;
- pitches, messages, statuses, reviews and notification history;
- subscription, credit and transaction records; and
- technical logs, device information and security events.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; import and analyse music data; match tracks with playlists; operate the pitch Inbox; process payments and credits; provide support; improve reliability; and meet legal obligations.
Where required, our legal basis may be performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent or compliance with law. The final notice will map each purpose to its applicable basis.
Public profiles and sharing
Artist and playlist analysis pages may be public when the relevant profile is published. Pitches and their messages are shared only with the participating artist and curator workspaces, except where disclosure is required for support, security or law.
Before publishing, check that the information and artwork shown are suitable for public display.
Service providers and transfers
We use service providers for hosting, security, connected music data, payments and operational communications. Cloudflare currently provides core hosting infrastructure. Providers process information only for agreed purposes and under appropriate safeguards.
The final notice will name material provider categories and explain any international-transfer safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as needed for the service, account history, disputes, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and will be specified before public launch.
We use technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local regulator.
Email privacy@sonoamp.com to make a request.
Cookies and updates
sonoamp uses essential local storage for preferences such as appearance and may use essential cookies for authentication and security. Any optional analytics or marketing cookies will be documented and, where required, offered through a consent control before use.
We will post material changes here and update the date at the top of this page.
